Statement

In the absence of any single day of mourning, or global pause to honor the lives lost, this is an attempt to fill that gap in our collective consciousness. No one has anywhere collectively to take their grief, honor their loved ones or feel anchored while adrift in a number that continues to grow daily.

Mission

We decided that it was too great a loss to continue being merely a tally on a screen.

Each number represents a life, loves, family and untold friends left behind.

Behind each number is a name and so the meticulous process of cataloguing those names has begun.
